Amethyst and Pearl Heart Brooch

A very pretty double heart brooch, featuring 2 amethyst hearts surrounded by seed pearls and topped with a stylised bow. The hearts represent 2 lovers and this would have traditionally been a gift between close friends or sweethearts in the Victorian era.

Era: Victorian c.1837-1901

Metal: Tests as 15ct gold, unmarked

Amethyst heart shapes are approx. 1mm x9mm

Seed pearls 2mm diameter each

Weight: 6.6grams 

Size: 2.9cm wide x 2.4cm tall
