Antique 1.40m 18ct Gold Long Guard Chain

This beautiful antique chain would have once been part of a lady's outfit, designed to be used to hold a pocket watch or attached to a muff so as not to lose it. This chain is 1.40m long and is substantial enough to be worn as a necklace wrapped a number of times around the neck in lots of different ways, giving you great flexibility. Beautifully crafted and in great condition, with a dog clip if you wished to attach a pendant.
