Antique 1.95ct Diamond Halo Ring

This stunning antique diamond ring is a true heirloom piece, dating to the early 20th century and in beautiful condition. The ring has just under 2.00ct in total diamond weight but presents as much larger. The ring is modelled in platinum, and has hand carved detail on the gallery and shoulders. The central diamond is a large old European cut and is absolutely stunning - it is bezel set so it is smooth and has a low profile - and is surrounded by a halo of pave diamonds with 2 diamond baguettes on either shoulder.

The centre diamond is a 1.25ct old European cut diamond; eyeclean and bright (colour H, SI)

The surrounding diamond weight is approximately 0.70ct 

Tests as platinum; no hallmarks

Dates to c. 1910-1920, from a family estate

The head of the ring measures: 1.4cm diameter
