Antique 18ct Gold 'Mizpah' Ring
This antique Mizpah ring is crafted in beautiful 18ct yellow gold. This ring hails from the Victorian era, when Mizpah rings were given to lovers or friends who were separated, as a token of affection and devotion. The word itself is Hebrew for a watchtower; but the deeper meaning that this sentimental jewellery refers to can be found in the passage in Genesis 31:49, which reads “And [it was called] Mizpah, for he said, The Lord watch between me and thee, when we are absent from one another”.
