Antique Art Deco 1.32ct Old Cut Diamond and Sapphire Target Ring

A truly wonderful antique 'target' ring - featuring a chunky 1.32ct old mine cut diamond surrounded by individually cut blue sapphires, set in platinum with smaller diamonds down each shoulder.

Why I chose this ring: The target style ring is a classic design dating to the late Edwardian / art deco eras and this is a fabulous example. I love the cushion shaped old cut diamond in the centre and it's beautifully rendered too; even the gallery has a intricate heart shaped pattern pierced in the platinum.
