Antique Victorian 2.15ct Colombian Emerald and Diamond Ring

This emerald and diamond ring dates from the Victorian era. It features an incredibly vibrant emerald surrounded by a halo of rose cut diamonds, set in yellow gold with intricate floral hand engraving down each shoulder. This is a true heirloom; inside in engraved with 3 initials with corresponding dates for 1899, 1871 and 1900 - all must have meant something precious to the owner. 

The emerald is 8mm x 7mm; weight 2.15ct

The emerald is certified as a natural Colombian with clarity enhancement; it is a vivid green with natural inclusions and a tiny bit of wear to the facet edges as to be expected with a ring of this age. Colombian origin; see attached certificate. 

The diamonds are rose cuts, total 0.55ct, H- I , SI.

The head of the ring measures: 12mm x 11.5mm

The band is 4.5mm tall

Weight: 5.5 grams
