Antique Victorian Emerald and Diamond Ring

This emerald and diamond ring dates from the Victorian era. It features an incredibly vibrant emerald surrounded by a halo of rose cut diamonds, set in 18ct yellow gold with intricate floral hand engraving down each shoulder. This is a true heirloom; inside in engraved with 3 initials with corresponding dates for 1899, 1871 and 1900 - all must have meant something precious to the owner. 

The emerald is 8mm x 7mm; weight approximately 1.10ct

The emerald is vibrant green with natural inclusions and a tiny bit of wear to the facet edges. Believed to be Colombian; certification forthcoming.

The head of the ring measures: 12mm x 11.5mm

The band is 4.5mm tall
