

Vintage 10.00ct Diamond Double Clip 'Duette' Brooch, c. 1930-40

Featuring over 200 mixed cut diamonds, weighing a total of 10.00ct, the design is what is described as a 'duette' brooch, which is made up of 2 clips which come together on a brooch bar, and can be worn separately as clips on a lapel, hat, bag or shoe! - or together as a statement brooch - however your fancy takes you! This style of brooch was most common during Art Deco and Art Nouveau periods, celebrating modernity and machine aesthetics.
The round brilliant cut centre diamond on each clip is 0.90ct each. There are 88 smaller round brilliant cuts and 12 diamond baguettes and a diamond pave section; SI clarity, G-H colour.
