Vintage 2.40ct Diamond Ring with 0.40ct Baguette Shoulders

A beautiful 2.80ct (total) diamond ring, from the early - mid 20th century. The ring is modelled in the timeless style of a 2.40ct round transitional cut diamond with 2 diamond baguettes on each shoulder. This is perfect as a classic engagement ring, giving you plenty of diamond weight for the price.

Centre diamond: 2.40ct

Diamond colour: K/L (faint yellow; if you wanted to lean into the yellow colour you could re-set this ring in yellow gold)

Diamond clarity: SI2

Diamond shoulders: 0.40ct total

Stamped 'PLAT' and tests as such

The head of the ring measures: 2mm wide (including the shoulders) x 9mm

Transitional Cut refers to the cutting method used in the transitional period between the Old European Cut and the modern round cut. This cutting method appeared from about 1910 to 1940.
