Vintage 9ct Gold Locket with Star Set Diamond

This tactile and very wearable oval shaped gold locket is fashioned in smooth 9ct yellow gold, and has a small star set diamond set in the centre. It is made in a style that is reminiscent of Victorian jewellery, although this piece is more modern. The locket is in great condition and opens up; you can use the compartment to hold a picture or keep sake of a loved one close to your heart. 

The size of the loctet is 2.4cm long x 1.9cm wide. The bale is 9mm long - total length from top of the bale to bottom of the locket is 3.3cm

Birmingham hallmarks for 9ct gold, faded makers mark. Assumed to be from 1980-1990s. 
Diamond: approx 0.10ct

Weight: 7.6grams
